Learn from capital city of Indonesia

I LEARNT SEVERAL THINGS FROM JAKARTA
God will always give a miracle towards His servants from unrecognized path, and one of them is by assembling among great people and studied much stories from their experiences. And this is what I get from my 7 days journey in Jakarta. However it’s not only teach me about their intelligence skill but also they taught us about how to be act sincerely, always think positive, optimist and the last but not the least our connection towards God The Almighty.
It started right after arriving in Senen Station; we arrived midnight and automatically can’t continue our journey because of no longer vehicles available to pick up passengers in the middle of night. Meanwhile, I felt tired and need rest as soon as possible, and we decided to sleep in front of Prayer Room. What a shock when I woke up in the dawn because of my money and ATM card taken from my wallet although I need money so much. From this accident I got a lesson for whole people, just for suggestion never try to let your guard down in the public sphere such as public transportation, Station; Airport; especially your important stuffs like jewelry, diamonds, money, or girls…??? That was my first lesson.
My second point is my turning back to be honest in everything; in University of Indonesia I found several rules in view of judges that can’t be tolerated generally, we taught many things that accidentally changed from what we got during Technical Meeting. And of course, this accident isn’t only felt unfair by our contingent but also felt by another contingents especially who came from different Provinces. However, round of matches as I expected ended by our lost and bring unsatisfied in their hearts, but our problem isn’t over yet. Committee noticed that there were several intruders whom stayed with contingent in Apartment and they want to find them as well. We played hide and seek in around 4th and 5th day in Jakarta with the committee to make sure that we were saved from their patrols. And from these accidents I taught that every region has their own rules, and we as the settlers couldn’t do anything to fight against injustice of landlord, and I suggest you to always open your mind and your heart to always forgive each other, because we’ll never know what exactly happened in alien areas.
My third point is basically taught us about deciding your own choice, especially after graduated from College. My journey to Jakarta colored by many experiences and many inspire stories from many different people in order to embrace their own success until today. Starting from Miss Vera as the Business woman, she also actively works as English teacher, owned Muslimah Beauty Salon, and recently became Business Consultant for all ages. She opened Business sharing and open Session moved from Cafe into another Cafe by low budget and cost so it will attracted more participants to participate in this event. What exactly became focus on Miss Vera is her way to develop idea and her relationship towards God. Meanwhile, she always taught her employee to keep 5 prayers and also Praying Dhuha as the beginning of their task in the morning. Furthermore, she was a housewife, having 3 children and all of them were still kids.  She controlled all of her business from her laptop in the house, so she hasn’t need to come into field to control it because their trustworthy and business confidence among Owner and employee. The second man that I faced was Mr. Agus whom actively works in Judicial Commission. He worked in Judicial Commission in around 6 years ago, however, he's kinda weird as an Government employee because of his style is really fun and friendly. and he motivated us how to live in wild condition after graduation.

No Organization No Action

Since I was child, I’d never try myself into hard works, I spent my time by playing games and having no dreams. My parents tried to persuade me on joining some extracurricular in my junior high school, but I just lazy and they were unnecessary for me, though. But then, I just compared myself through those actively works in School organizations like OSIS, ROHIS etc. Of course, I found the real nightmare or my biggest fear was to show up in front up a lot of people. I tried so hard to change my self but finally I failed because my foolish and laziness were bigger than I thought; I need people to force me to do so, but who? I’d always being spoiled in my family, I could do everything   what I want without faring to my parents.
But it’s over until I reach my senior high school level in Gontor; a place where disciplines were honored, a place where many big people are built, a place where your dreams came true through hard efforts. I thank Gontor so much, because it told me uncountable things; it taught me how to live, how to honor and how to be honored. However 5 years that I spent in Gontor influenced me so much until I became what I’m living right now.
I continued my education travel to UMY (Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta) to take my undergraduate program. Being an   International Relations student with no basic political education before was a big deal for me; meanwhile, I still had many friends that always support me in every activity I joined. Alhamdulillah when lecturing just recently started I was chosen by Leader of KOMAHI (International relations student corps) Mas Hadi Amroni to become a leader of IR graduate 2011. Even it so difficult at the first, but I try to always keep my promise and keep trustworthiness from people whom support me so much, like family, friends, lectures or even my previous teachers in Gontor.
Nowadays, I joined some organizations in UMY, consist of Student Activity Board in KOMAHI, Student creative club like Al-Mujaddid, Student English Activity, Scout Movement Racana Nyai Ahmad Dahlan, from Islamic Student Movement I joined HMI MPO and for Islamic activity club I joined LPTQ (Students Organization of Developing Reciting Holy Qur’an).
However, never intend to be arrogant, but honestly I always got higher or even the highest position from those organizations and it certainly because they trusted me so much and they knew my capacity and also my experiences on leading organizations. Hope I could keep their mandate as long as I could or perhaps till the rest of my life.
In the end, I suggest you to join any kind of organization that suitable with your major or your passion, not only because you might do that but I think you must do it, organizations not only give you new friends, new atmosphere, new office, new job, but above everything it will teach you what your lectures didn’t do in your regular lecturing.
